Who Are We

Smoopy’s owner Andrew Logan stepped away from the automotive restoration and customizing world to pursue a long standing dream of building and restoring bicycles.

Andrew  began his adventure by working with Steve Larvay, a Restoration specialist of all things ride-on. Andrew took the skills and knowledge he learned and opened his first shop out of his home garage in Readyville in 2007.

That led to the culmination of a storefront named after his first daughter’s nickname “Smoopy”. A name, Logan says, resonates in the head long after you first hear it. Much like the name of his local bike shop, “Skedaddle” (also located in Murfreesboro) did many years ago.

Soon after, Logan took Smoopy’s to the Woodbury Flea market, where he flourished in sales and service for nearly two years.

In 2009, Andrew moved Smoopy’s to East Main Street in Murfreesboro where it remains today.

Andrew continues to offer bikes, parts & accessories for purchase along with expert restoration services and custom build help and execution.

Andrew has restored bikes for such celebrities  as Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz of American Pickers on History fame, along with former TX Senator Ross Perot who had Andrew restore his childhood bike to be displayed in his Museum in Dallas, TX.

Andrew and his staff at Smoopy’s Vintage Bicycles is committed to offering you the best possible service at the best possible price along with expert knowledge of bicycle service, repair, and restoration.
